I purchased a 3G mobile connection (9013104002) on 24-June-09 from Sanchar Haat, Jor Bagh. However, even after passage of a month, I find that the above mobile connection is not yet energized and, whenever I want to use it, gives a message “Your phone is suspended temporarily”. I had already submitted the requisite Agreement form alongwith copy of photo ID. On enquiry with the Sanchar Haat Jor Bagh, I’m informed that they’ve sent all the documents to the Idgah office. Nevertheless, I again faxed a copy of my photo ID to MTNL on 10-July-09. I also made two telephonic complaints - No. No. 10800149100709 dtd. 16-July-09 & No. 19000053200709 dtd. 20-July-09. Yet, after all this, there is no resolution of my complaint & my phone is still not activated, much less on 3G. It's disgusting that MTNL is promising the moon to its 3G service users (including video calling and mobile TV), but can't get its act together to at least activate the services on new connection on priority basis, much less providing 3G functionalities. Good that MTNL is searching for partners to run its 3G services - MTNL is not competent enough to run normal services, leave along 3G which thrives on providing a superior experience. MTNL should just hand over its infrastructure to private players before the whole of its customer base shifts to operators providing better (or any!) customer service. But then what would happen to MTNL's fat cows who sit on their behinds and take their salaries while not caring for the consumers one bit.

I wish to get a internet connection with M/s.Reliance communications, and I signedall formalities with them on 10.04.2009. But till this day, I have not get any internet connection from them. I also conduct with them many times .But they are not give any usefull responses yet today.

I apply for a new connection for INTERNET on 10.04.2009. But thayare not give any connection to me till this day. I conduct with many times and enquire with them. But they are not give any respectable responses. WHY?

i waz a customer of vodafone from d past 6 yrs bt since my simcard waz not working properly i had to get it exchanged from their office , but due to their negligience they changed my post paid plan and the next month i got a bill which was 6 times more than the bill i use 2 get 4 the past six yearz, i did register my complain to many vodafone agents and also visited their office many times in okhla , new delhi but all in vain, they filed a case against me and their agents are regularly harassing me for the last 1 year alon with the advocates hired by the company.

Hi, From last few "Months" I'm having problem with my MTNL Broadband. Broadband Phone no : 26660779 DSL Router: UT-300R2U Name: Dharmendra Singh Everyday most of the time it just keep trying to connect to internet and i get "Authentication Failure" or "PPP Down" messages, It works fine for some time (Around 2-3 hours in brakes in 10 hours of time). But whenever i start my laptop i never be sure that internet will work or not, and most of the time it take hours to connect to internet. When i complaint to 1504, they register complain for problem in line/cable, but no lineman comes to correct anything when i call them they just say you phone is ok so your line is also. I ask lineman to replace the old cable (it has multiple joint in it), but they say that they don't have new cable to change. There are too many complaints i made on 1504 the most resent (unresolved) complaint no are : 41600457 (20-May-2008 ), 41600457 (11-May-2008). Now before giving up the my broadband connection i want to know if the problem is in my line/cable or your server is used to work like this. But i don't know how to find out. If you can, please let me know how to resolve this issue. PS: I'm willing to pay for NEW CABLE in case MTNL do not have fund to change my old cable. But Please change the cable and Make the connection in professional manner. Thanks, Dharmendra Singh

I purchased a NOKIA 6300 mobile phone set from Subhiksha Trading Services Ltd., VAdodara vide heir invoice no. 51526 dated 05/08/2007 paying cash. The phone is not working satisfactorily since the date of purchase. It hangs frequently while talking or receiving or making calls. It also switches off automatically while talking even while sending or receiving SMS. I initially contacted Subhiksha shwo room in the Fatehgunj Area of Vadodara from where I had purchased the phone . They first flat to talk saying that once the phone is sold I should not go to them for any complaints but contact only Nokia care for the redressal. when I insisted they accepted the phone and gave it to a Nokia Care centre in New Emporar building at Fatehgunj VAdodara. The said Nokia care centre after keeping the phone for 2 days returned the phone saying that there was a software related problem and the same has been rectified. However, there was no improvement in the working. On the contrary the frequency of the recurrence of the problem increased. I gave it back to the same Nokia Care centre once again but there was same reply once agin with no improvements. Thereafter tired with the phone I tried to talk to their Ahmedababd office bu the responsible persons did not come on the phone and Mr. Amit who I presume is the key person in their Ahmedabad Office always avoided to talk. after a number of calls he finally one day responded and when told about the problem told me to give one morechance and get the phone repaired from their Nokia Care centre at BHavnagar. I gave it to the said centre and got the phone back after 2 days saying that a software problem has been fixed. However, the phone is still not working properly and the frequency of hanging switching off and humming is increasing and it has become almost immpossible to use it. I tried to contact mr. Amit a number of times but he remained not available hence I contacted the company's Gurgaon office there also no responsible person came on line. Then I got in touch with Mr. Amit with a lot of effort after some time and he reluctantly agreed to replace the phone. He asked me to surrender the piece at their care centre in Bhavnagar. When I contacted their Center they said that they have no instruction from the company to take back the phone. I am trying to contact Mr. Amit to tell him to pass on the instructions to their care centre to take back tha phone but there is no response. I am tierd of the phone which is of no use. I am mentally also much harrassed. the attitude of the Subhiksha Nokia Care Centre and the company representative is totally indifferent.

Dear Sir, I confirm receipt of the duplicate sim for the above mentioned number on the 9th of April 2008. I called customer care number repeatedly but it was really futile. The calls were made for activation of the sim but unfortunately as usual Vodafone has to live by "Pathetic Customer Service" and they surely did. The last call I made today I was kept on hold for more than 25 minutes just to speak to a supervisor or a floor manager. If you hear the calls you would find that I have repeatedly asked for a floor supervisor or manager but was never given the opportunity to talk to one. With this type of customer service I have clipped up the sim card and now would not need to have a vodafone connection, I rather go in for one of the other service providers facility rather than waiting in hopes nd dying in despair just waiting to have the sim card activated. It is a very very frustrating procedure to reach customer care and more disgusting when nothing is done about it. By copy of this mail I am posting it on the website and also forwarding the same to your Principals to let them know how customer care in India functions and least to mention a copy to Consumer Forum for the harrassment that it has caused the end user. I would like some advice to point me in the right direction with my issue which is as follows: On Mon14th Jan08 I applied online with BT for Broadband where I was to receive info within 48hrs, after 72hrs when I heard nothing I contacted them where I was told I needed a Mac code. I called AOL knowing I had Broadband with them but they confirmed it was clearly cancelled since June07 and did not need a MAC Code. I then contacted BT again explaining what AOL said and again explained my situation, where I am a new tenant in the current flat and know not of the previous tenant whereabouts etc. I was assured my line was completely cleared of faults and I would be free to choose another provider where I went to Tiscali this was 18th Jan08. Since then I have been between Providers ie. BT & Tiscali where I was passed to every department. I called Tiscali on Thur 24th Jan08 and was told if I chose the entire phone package with them this should not be a problem, I was set up on Option1 costing £14.99 p/m with a one off £30 set up fee when this transaction was finished I got a Reference number UI9FE5Z794 within 3/5 working days I should receive a confirmation letter and 7/10 working days I should get all the stuff I need to activate my package. After which I received a letter from Tiscali on Fri 25th Jan08 stating my order cannot be processed as tests from their engineers showed my telephone num is not recognised as a BT Landline, I contacted BT again who confirmed they are my provider and there are no faults also I should not be dealing with this Tiscali should be contacting BT Wholesalers. I called Tiscali to convey the message after which I received 2letters a day apart first on Wed 30th of Jan08 stating they (Tiscali) have received notification from BT of a slight delay with my order, therefore my service will not be transferred to the go live date shown on my correspondence. I called BT to run a second check on the line they confirmed again there are no faults and again informed me that Tiscali should be speaking to BT Wholesalers not me. After this I called Tiscali stating what I have been told by BT, I was advised to Re-submit my order which I did. The 2nd letter I received was on Thur 31st Jan08 but it was dated 29th Jan08 when I returned from work offering me a WELCOME PACK with my Details & Broadband package details, it contained amongst other information my Broadband username & password. And I was informed I can expect to receive my Broadband installation kit, including modem within 10working days. They will be contacting me during this process via my given email address (which I checked every other day and no mail was received).On Tue 12th Feb08 I spoke to an advisor from Tiscali who said call back within 5 working days assuring me my order was being looked into, I called again on Wednesday 13th Feb08 where they told me nothing has changed. My next call to Tiscali was on Wed 20th Feb I was trying to explaining my issue with my order the person said to hold the line and hung up, I tried again and I was informed all is well I should expect my modem within 8/10working days and my order has been processed successfully I was asking for their name they asked me to hold and cut the line. I called again and was told BT cancelled handing over my line to them and nothing substancial but a few options was given why it could have been, not being satisfied as I would like to get to the reason why BT should refuse I called again where I was told they Tiscali received an update from BT on the 19th Feb that BT was unable to hand over the line, I said to the person who said his name was Foyaz BT informed me they should be directly dealing with the wholesalers he said that is incorrect information I need to contact BT for them to sort it out. (This had been the situation from day one). On Thur 21st Feb I called BT to sort out this affair where I was told to speak to a Manager in Tiscali and they don't understand why I was having to deal with this when Tiscali should have been directly dealing with BT Wholesalers. When I called Tiscali after my conversation with the BT adviser I spoke to the Supervisor Joseph Myrs who said he was not aware I received a welcome letter, He agreed they should have been dealing with this directly with BT Wholesalers and don't understand why I had so much difficulties, he assured me this matter would be dealt with strictly on a Managers Level. He took my mobile & landline number and said I would be updated within 48hrs I asked if that would be working days he said no strictly 48hrs. After which I have heard nothing from them and did not try to contact them since. I have wasted time, money contacting them and having to wait for very long period of times between them and BT for a response of my order.(When I checked nothing was taken from my bank account). Could you please point me in the right direction.

Hi, This is Deepa. we have given net connection in our home the last month. As the date has been expired we contact the respective person to renew on the date of 22-01-2008. But there was no further action taken by the opertor to renew it yet.
