| I had been a Wellness Plan client at Banfield Pet Hospital in Oxnard, CA for over two years when I decided to cancel the plan. I was told to come into the Banfield to pay the last two months and that vaccinations were due for my dog at which time I could cancel the plan. I paid the last months fee and was told that my plan was cancelled. Two months later I was contacted by Banfield Oxnard and told that my account was two months late in payment. I discussed this with the manager who said that since I had the vaccinations I was now obligated to pay the cost of the vacinnations (a ridiculous fee over $300) or pay for the plan for another year at $20 a month. I asked for this to be put in writing this time because this was not what I was told when they cancelled the plan two months prior. The manager said she would not put anything in writing and summoned me to her office to make the payment immediately or she would send my account to collections. I was appauled at the treatment and extortion especially after being a good paying customer for years. Now I,m left with submitting to their extortion or they will attempt to ruin my perfect credit history. |

| "This dental practice is defrauding it,s patients by having them sign up for expensive cosmetic procedures and failing to deliver them. I agreed to pay for veneers over 6 weeks ago which were supposed to be put on before an upcoming vacation. Not only did I not get them put on before my vacation but I,ve been paying for a service I have yet to receive. Week after week the practice tells me that they,ll be ""coming in this week"" and they never do. An employee I had not spoken to previously recently went out on a limb and whispered into the phone that the practice had not paid their bills in months. She also indicated there are about 100 other patients in my situation. I have a feeling this practice may be headed for bankruptcy and all these patients are going to be left with huge bills for services and products they have never received.." |

| "I put in 2 requests at the pharmacy: one was a refill and the other was new prescription. The intake person said it would take approximately an hour, which I thought was odd because they are not known for having several items in stock. I returned an hour later to find that the refill was complete, however they had to order the new script which would take 2 days. I returned 2 days later and they said there was no prescription on file. I told them in great detail the description of the intake person at 6:30 PM on Monday, as well as a description of the guy who told me he would order it approximately 8 PM the same night. Luckily the second pharmacist was still working when I called. He had to search for the prescription & would call me back. Two hours later he called back to say he found my new prescription. It was filled the following day.I think that,s extremely scary that a pharmacy could ""lose"" a prescription, because they are all written on small pieces of paper. Even more terrifying is t here,s been ID theft taken from prescription drug labels nowadays! Rite Aid,s system of checks & balances had failed. I,m concerned if I should go back there to fill my future prescriptions" |

| On 13 December 2004, when I went to the company¡¯s headquarters in Shah Alam, I decided to purchase the membership card for RM10 which would entitle me to get a 10% discount rate for their products (Gamat Healing). I was made to believe that the terms was that the discount can only be made when I purchase goods in the headquarters, and that there is no time limit to the card. In late January 2005, I received a letter and also the membership card (No.1478), which apparently was issued in December 2004. It is only on 13 April 2005, when I decided to purchase some products that I decided to use the card. Imagine my surprise when I went to the headquarters all the way in Shah Alam (I took the trouble for this distance as I am staying in Ampang), that my card is no longer valid. The saleman explained that the card can no longer be used and that I need to purchase another card for RM12. I argued that I felt cheated as I only used the card once (during the card purchase), and now I need to purchase another card even though the existing card that I am holding is still considered valid and not expired. What was worse was that I needed to re-purchase in full for the new card and not only pay the difference between the existing and the new one (which was about RM 2). The director of sales (En Idham) told me that the company had sent letters to notify membership holders about the new policy and that if received the letter, I could change the present card to the new card free before March 2005. I told him that I did not receive any letter as such and he told me that the company is not responsible for the postal service. I told him that he cannot just wash his hands just like that and that it is impossible that I would not receive the said letter as I managed to receive the other letter with the membership card. Then, he told me that the last batch of letters was sent last week (meaning the week before I came, which is in April 2005). Then I told him that it is not fair to penalize me when I did not receive such letter of notice. Till to date, I still did not receive any letter to state that there is a change of policy for the membership card. I was not informed which is one of the basic of consumers rights. Thus, in conclusion, I made additional payment for the membership card only to be told later that it was no longer valid and had to pay another sum of money for another card despite the initial explanation that it was a lifetime membership card. Why can¡¯t we receive the so called ¡®revised¡¯ card upon producing the first card and how sure is the company that all letters informing of the changes are received by all customers? I do feel disappointed with this as the company¡¯s products are actually at its peak now and that all this unfairness only comes about when the products are well received and its being supported by customers like me.

The 1 yr program cost RM 120.00. I would like to ask the authorities if this is really a message from the authorities??

| My family and I visited my grandfather in Melaka GH last weekend and we were very disappointed with the environment and attitude of the nurses there.
When we reached there, we noticed that they just left the lunch on the table and the lunch was already cold. My grandfather was not able to sit up and move, so how do they expect him to eat?
When we asked for the assistance from the nurse to fix a tube for urine bag that came out, the nurses keep saying that they are busy. But, I noticed all of them were sitting there talking and doing some paper work.
By the time they come, my grandfather's pants were wet and we asked if they can help my grandfather to change. Showing an impatient look, she asked us to take the clothes ourselves in a store room, and do the changing ourselves. So, my mum and I went to the messive store room which was suppose 'untuk kakitangan sahaja' and look for the clothes, and change for my grandpa.
For all the time, the nurses are sitting at the counter, doing nothing!
We are not hoping that the nurses to show a happy face everyday to the patient. We just wish that they can do their very basic job. At least be kind to the sick and old one.

I'm visited Dental Faculty at University Malaya Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, on two weeks ago and yesterday. A Dental Faculty which General Dental Council of UK recognized this faculty as one of the best dental faculties few years ago. The first time of my visit, I was brought to a dental lab. There, a I-thought-he-is-a-doctor-but-a-trainer was lecturing his students and I was instructed to sit on the patient seat.
I complained to him that I had a painful tooth on upper row of my teeth. However, as he seems wasn't listening and busy lecturing, at the end, instead of what he should examing and take appropriate action on my said tooth, he was doing which dentists term it as fill-in (drilling and fill-in a substance) on a tooth at bottow row of my teeth! After finished of what he had done, he instructed me to go home and told me that his student will call me for follow up. I was stunned and blurred at that time, leaving the faculty and complaining to my friends of what the trainer had done to me.
Not able to withstand the pain of the upper tooth anymore, I went back again to the faculty few days later. Another doctor/trainer/whoever in charge, after found out my record, asked me why I returned and should wait until a student call me. We heated up the argument, of course. I told them that they should do what I'm complaining, not doing the otherwise. The doctor replied this: "We do not repair/correct your teeth and do not fulfill your request. This is a faculty where you come and we teach our students on neccessary things. If you want to get your teeth corrected as what you demanded, go to the dental clinic or private's". I wanted further questioning them on why there wasn't any notice or statement displayed at the waiting hall that tell patients what are their dos and don'ts at their faculty, however, I was so angry that I left the place in haste.
