Delta flight 155 from Manchester, UK to JFK in New York on Sunday, September 16, 2007 when I was threatened with an arrest by a Delta employee for using the wrong toilet. What happened was that after drinking two beverages and three hours of sitting quietly, I had the urgency to use the toilet. I was seated in row 23 on an aisle seat; the restrooms in my cabin had a line of at least ten people standing and waiting in the aisle to use the two facilities. I stood there a minute and noticed a bathroom a few seats up was vacant. Therefore, I went to the next set of toilets. They did not have a curtain pulled so I assumed it would be okay. Upon immediately sitting on the toilet, I was startled by a loud bang on the door. I said, “Just a minute please” and then two more loud bangs occurred so violently that the vibrations turned off the light! I was afraid something serious was going on – in less than two minutes I immediately finished. I was afraid to open the door and as soon as I unlocked it a Delta attendant (without a name tag) pushed in the door and SHOUTED at me saying, “Miss, you just committed a Federal crime.” He said, “The Business class has this bathroom especially reserved and you violated Federal law by using this bathroom since you only paid coach fare. I said to him, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know, and it was an emergency – I really needed to use the toilet.” The Delta employee screamed at me reciting some law to the effect that that the pilot strictly instructed passengers to stay in their own cabin and that I violated Federal law. He then said, “I can have you arrested because we have the means upon this aircraft to enforce laws. I can restrict your entry into the United States and have you arrested.” Again, I said “I’m sorry.” The Delta attendant had the food cart in the aisle restricting my passage, so I tried to squeeze past it to go back to my seat when he said “Miss, you committed a Federal crime by using this bathroom, and I can have you arrested, and you must accept that I am informing you that you committed a Federal crime and you cannot use this bathroom.” Again I said, “I’m sorry” with tears welling up in my eyes. He followed me back to my seat continuing his intimidating shouting “Wait Miss, I am not done with you. You committed a Federal crime and you must say to me the words, I accept.” The entire cabin turned quiet and all eyes were starring at me. I was sobbing. I said, “I told you I’m really sorry – it was a mistake.” He shouted, “Do you accept!” Crying, I nodded, and he again screamed “Miss, You must say you accept or else I will have you arrested when we exit the plane.” Again, I nodded and meekly said, “Yes, I’m sorry… I accept.” I really didn’t know what I was accepting to but I did know my face was red and I was frightened and I felt like I was being treated like I was a criminal or a terrorist. The male attendant made an obvious notation of my seat number to further intimidate and humiliate me. I kept my head down trying to hide, and when the plane landed I exited so quickly to avoid having the Delta employee notice me. I was so afraid of being arrested and I never been so frightened or publicly humiliated.

I had gone to take out my monthly season ticket at kalyan booking office. The most stupid idea of central railway at kalyan of disbursing all tickets in same window. Morever it causes a lot of time waste for people to stand in big lines for their season tickets. I wish railways should change this system of ticket booking. Moreover they are not ready to first class tickets also in separate line which is verymuch nonsense as it means person buying ticket worth Rs 2000 and more and one buying Rs 20 have to stand in same que. Kindly get me some email address of higher autorities so that this problem could be highlighted. |

This company sends fax listings of vacation package deals. Takes your money and sends nice brochures. But when its time to arrange a stay, they are non-responsive, they ID your incoming phone calls, and then do not answer your calls. The secretary takes messages, but no one calls us back. We lost $500.00 in purchasing a package and could never get an answer back from an employee. We even sent the Florida Buereau of Regulation and Enforcement a letter but they could do nothing about it.

Hello, my name is Holly, and me and my husband put an entry into one of those contest boxes at the mall about May of 2006. We got a call in July stating that we had won! We were told we won either one of three choices, $30,000, a car, or a vacation. We were told to wait for the prize in the mail. When the envelope finnaly came we found out we had to go to some time-share seminar in Va, a 2-1/2 hour drive from where we live. Well then we were like, okay what the hell, we can see whats up with it all, we just wont buy. So we went, we thought the property was beautiful, with a price of $15,000.00 for the mebership alone, it better be pretty nice, it could have been better but i guess you get what you pay for, so we actually considered it, with one condition, that they give me copies of any and all papers so that my lawyer take a look, make sure theres nothing fishy. They absolutly refused, then desiced to f- around on us and try and pass some BS that we were never supposed to get a prize, after 3 hours of our child crying and them trying to decide what to do, they checked us out. In the end they were asses, and we got our prize, some membership to no where, that pays for nothing, but got $50.oo for gas(check did clear), and 2 packages that pay for 3 nights in a 2 star hotel at a sellection of our choice(you have to choose from like 5 in Fla and TNN), we have to use within one year(requires $100 deposit, and 3 months reservation). It wasnt a total loss, we used that time to go down and see some of the battle fields there in Virginia.

1. Upon arrival to our room, we discovered that there were ants in our bed, in fact, the room was swarming with them. We contacted Guest Services immediately. Guest services wanted to spray pesticide. I refused because I am allergic to pesticide. Upon my refusal, I was given another room within a few hours. The new room did not have an ant problem but had a flying cockroach in the room. Photograph available if needed.2. Minor requests for food were denied, including listed menu items which we were told were not available.3. Many of the promised services that were part of the holiday package and costs were not available such as Scuba Diving. We enquired only to find that it was fully booked for the entire week, with a waiting list.4. On many occasions when we enquired for the holiday package services we were sent to different locations, only to find that we had been sent to the wrong desk/location. By the time we tracked down where the staff should have sent us. The activity was either fully booked or left for the day.5. The no tipping policy was not followed on multiple occasions.6. The shuttle from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios was 2.5 hours and did not have a rest stop.I have booked with MLT Worry Free Vacations on other occasions and have come to expect a high standard of Holiday and entertainment enjoyment. I most definitely did not have it on this trip. All of my comments were included on the comment card turned in at check out to management.

Our first visit to Mexico and our first timeshare presentation turned out to be a horror story for our family. The Sunset Group has almost $16000 of our money which was given as a deposit towards a timeshare on June 29th 2006. We tried to cancel in July and get a refund because we believe we were grossly deceived. But they have been unwilling to refund any money even though the American Embassy in Mexico has been negotiating with them. This is a huge amount of money for my family to lose.We were persuaded to purchase a 2 week master suite for $60000. Our salespeople Monica Mirica and Lorena Gonzalez told us we were investing in property that would appreciate every year. It seemed like a good investment. On July 28th I paid for a Timeshare Market Valuation by “Vacation Timeshare and Rentals” which placed the actual value of my contract at $17230.Monica verbally “guaranteed” many times that Sunset would buy back our contract after one year if we were not satisfied. She said it was a “no risk investment”. I have asked Sunset to honor that commitment but they say it is not written in the contract so they will not honor it.They added 6 “VIP” weeks and told us they could be rented out for $1700 a week profit. At $10200 profit per year they said I could repay my initial investment within 6 years. My research strongly suggests that this is not true. In factyou can rent weeks on eBay and the TimeShare Users Group (TUG) for much less than the maintenance fee. There is a lot of useful information about buying and renting timeshares on the TUG bsite.Unfortunately for me, I did not have time to review my contract immediately as I had to fly to the UK to attend my stepfathers funeral. He died on the same morning that we signed the contract yet Sunset has shown no compassion to us despite our emotional distress that day. They promised the presentation would be 90 minutes, but it lasted over 6 hours. Not only did we lose our money and our peace of mind, it spoilt our entire vacation and I have spent many hours trying to get the contract cancelled. The presentation was designed to induce our trust, and to this day we still cannot believe the salespeople could deliberately tell us what we believe were lies so convincingly, so many times. I am pursuing a full refund and I will never give up. I want as many people as possible to know the truth about the Sunset Group

The issue starts out in August of 2005 where we checked in to a cabin that smelled like an ashtray. It looked like a smoke haze when we walked into the room. As noted in my original complaint the room was terrible and due to a boat breakdown and the condition of the cabin we could not stay anymore than a couple of days. Needless to say we got raked thru the coals and got stuck with a bill for 7 nights even tough we could barely stand to stay three. Our consolation was that for 2006 the cabins are supposedly smoke free. We were not going to take a chance. We instead went to a 3 * * * star resort on Bull Shoals where the cabins are in great repair and always feel clean. We have gone to this resort for 6 years and it is great with one minor inconvenience. It is not on waters edge.Lakeside got paid for 7 nights even though we only stayed for 3. The credit card did not contest the charges. When it was contested thru my credit card Lakeside embellished on the truth and made it seem as if we agreed to their pay for all nights booked policy even though you dont stay for 7 nights because the smell was soo bad. They told a fish story that the only reason we left is due to my boat breaking down. Too be honest if we had our boat functioning we would have braved it out and stayed more than 3 days but being cooped up in the cabin with the smell was more than we could handle. The moral of the story is that your credit card company will not side with you in cases where the resort is not inhabitable. This was first time this happened in 8 years of heading down there but the resort is no longer the same place with new owners who are only concerned with the rent. To their credit they offered the use of their boat but it has such a storied history I did not feel safe even thinking about it. The boat was usually broken down and was a beater. To sum it up no more Bass Pro Shops Visa Card and no more Lakeside Resort in Coney Island Mo.

My son and I went on vacation to Hawaii while we were there a death occured and I had to book a flight to California when I called to make a new reservation I asked them if my son the age of 10 can still fly back home by himself so I can attend a funereal the agent that booked my flight at USAir asured me that I would have to pay a fee for each connecting flight for him so with her word I continue to book another flight out to California for $930 when I got to the airport to leave for my flight they first could not even find my new flight but during their search they came across my son,s since our last name were the same they then told me that my son could not travel by himself because he was under age I told them that when I booked my flight the person said I would only have to pay 40 per connection they said that was their old policy I wish they would have told me that before hand. I don,t have 900 to throw away. After days e-mails and holding on the phone for 30 min and them hanging up on me they told me that there is nothing they can do.The only thing I can get is a credit but I would have to travel the same way the ticket was purchased. I don,t even live in Hawaii what am I suppost to do fly to Hawaii again inorder to use this credit. I realize that the ticket was non-refundable but someone should be held accounable for their sorry reservation agent. My point is that I would have not spent the extra money if their agent would have been better trained. I really want to pursue this if any information that I can pertain to seek some type of justice I would be greatful. It,s not about the money I,m sick of airline companies that take advantage of good citizens. This issue is not the only thing I,m upset at they kept giving me the run around I have been trying to contact them for days and their phones are busy and they kept hanging up on me after holding for more than 30 min. some thing to be done or mangement need to really buckle down on their customer service.

I recently traveled to Colombia and back using Aeropostal. It was the worst experience that I have ever had with an airline and it was not the first time that I used a south american airline. I had to lay over an extra night in Bogota because of delays in hteir schedule. The next morning the first leg of my flight was cancelled and they had to shuffle me to another airline (Avianca). My checked luggage did not arrive with me in Miami and when I did receive it 5 days later it had been ransacked and several items were missing including my US cell phone and digital camera. I would never use this air line again and would not recommend it to anyone
