Hi,
On 14/04/2007 I went to Govt. Wines & Beer shop to buy 2 bottles of beer. The printed rate was MRP Rs. 30/-. But the worker asked to pay Rs. 35/-. When I questioned them, to give me Bill/Invoice, they refused and told if you want to buy you have to pay Rs.35/- or get out from here. We'll not sell.
I'm asking how an Individual survive in India. Is the Indian Law provide Justice to poor ones to punish such vendors. I'm just fowrarding this complaint in Public Interest.
Govt. is really not caring the public, I realized and found our Indian Law also not supporting the poor public in India. Just they are making Laws and ultimately public have to suffer, there is no such enforcement.
Thank you,
Narendra Sharma

No Value to Your Money for food at Station One Coffee House Restaurant
Just opened recently with 4 outlets in Cheras area - Station One Coffee House Restaurant.
I brought my family (4person) to dine at that place.
Here are some DISSATISFACTION we got:
1) Food very little (not enough)
2) Expensive compare to the size, quality & taste
3) Using bottle Sause which you can easily buy from any supermarket, then add water + flour to thinken.
When it serve to you, you will feel not value for money at all.
They supposed to give me back RM2.46 changed. But they just gave me RM 2.40 only. 1 small RM0.05 also dun wan to change back to me. RM0.05 is not lack in the market. Some more they have already charged 5% service charge.
This was my first time and also my last time eventhough the environment is OK.
I should took my digital camera and take the photo.
But I dun think I got the chance because I and my family do not want to go there anymore.
Not a real complaint but just my 2 cents if you're having meal in this lousy shop...
I had meal in the shop twice just to check whether they make the mistake purposely or what?
First time, I was charged for the dessert I didn't order/eat and I only found out later... which is too late.
Second time, even worse, they got me the wrong bill. I'm definately happy to pay for it if it's less but the the bill made me pay over RM11.00!!! I asked them to check the meal I had on the table and they just said..."I'm sorry..." which costed me a lot if I didn't check my bill!
What's more??? They got me the wrong change:-( They missed out RM0.30. I was just wondering how much EXTTTRRRAAA they make EVERYDAY because of this so called "Mistake"???
On 8th July 2005 night, I was shopping in that supermarket and I have picked few items and move to the counter for payment.
The cost was RM 8.15 in total. Since I have plenty of 1 cent coin, I have made the payment of 15 cent with one 10 cent coin and five 1 cent coins.
The cashier has rejected my payment saying that they no more accept 1 cent! Then I asked whether 1 cent is money or not and she told me that this was the management's instruction not to accept 1 cent!
I wanted to ask ministry of finance, if this thing was allowed to happen, what is the purpose of having 1 cent coin? To my understanding, this is consider a serious offense and show no respect to our country!
If a big supermarket in Kedah dare to do that, I can't imagine the rest!
I pray that the relevant department could take this issue seriously and take action against those who not respect our country!
Went there for dinner coz the advertisements looks so impressive. The first thing that made me feel it was a bad idea is that the waiters & waitresses are rushing here and there but totally ignores us. Never even give us the menu and cups of water. We tried a few times to get their attention, finally got the menu ... but no water. Never mind, give them a chance. We decided what we wanted to order and waited..... no one came to take our orders. Again we had to try a few times to flag somebody to take our orders. We even had to ask them for water... all we got is tiny little plastic cups with water in it... hmmm... it's alright, they are new in town.
After the orders were taken, we waited and waited,... half hour passed. I got the attention of a waiter and asked what's taking so long. He told me they are overloaded with too many orders, asked us to be patient. Ok .... another 15 minutes goes by, ... nothing. The table next to us came later but got their food already. Flagged the waiter again, told him something is very wrong, why is the table next to us getting their food earlier than us. He told us it's coming. OK fine, ... finally they brought us our cutlery. Oh joy... food is coming. Brought us only 2 sets, there are 4 of us. Nevermind, maybe they are getting the other 2 sets when the food comes.
Finally after 50 minutes waiting, our food comes out, ... but no extra set of cutlery. Flag waiter again (this must be the norm eating in this place) , asked them for 2 more sets of cutleries. They brought us 2 sets fork & spoons. But our orders are leg of chicken. I asked them where's the knife, ... the answer is ... sorry sir we ran out of knives. I was really fuming mad already, asked them how do you expect me to cut my roast chicken with a spoon?!?! .... he said sorry sir, he'll go check the wash area of there are any more forks.... I said you do that please. In the end the knives came and we can only settle in to eat our dinner at 9pm!!!!!!
No matter how nice the food was, ... it was terrible coz we're already so numb from hunger & so angry at them. Finished our dinner & we flagged for the bill. Fantastically enough I'm charged 10% service charge. WHAT SERVICE?! you call this torture treatment service?! I told the waiter you got to waive this off coz your service is attrocious!,.... answer, sorry sir cannot lah... FINE I'll pay the bill and get the hell out of there. Paid and waited for my change. Waited waited waited,... everyone else was getting their change but where's my change?!?! Flag the waiter (again...).... finally got my change. I walked away swearing never to eat there ever again.
I happen to have an appointment at Bangsar one day, and decided to have lunch over there, since I seldom be in Bangsar. I browse around and found that most of the restaurants are some sort like 'high class' and quite expensive.
I notice this Traditional Chinese Restaurant at the corner of the road and decided to have my lunch there since 'Mix rice' is available. I only wanted to have a lite and cheaper lunch.
The choices of dishes are not much, I choosen the chicken cooked with soy sauce and ginger, then a bowl of 'assam' mixed vegie. I only thought that will cost me about RM4 (since Bangsar is famous with its high living standard).
I got a shock when I pay at the counter when the lady boss told me my mixed rice cost RM8!!! I reconfirm with her by telling her I just order 2 dishes with small white rice. She just told me that the rice with chicken is RM5 while the bowl of assam vegie cost RM3, so total is RM8.
This is the most expensive mix rice I had in my life!!! Of course, that will be the first time and the last time I go into that restuarant...
